I’m a classically trained actress and voice-over artist based in NYC.

Born in Chicago, bred in Houston and cultured in Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur; I finally ‘settled’ in Sharon, a quiet Massachusetts town with the renowned Lake Massapoag, one of my favorite places on earth. A native Turkish speaker, I spent delicious summers in Turkey as a child, frolicking with my cousins and chicken fighting in the Mediterranean and in the Aegean & Black Seas.

My career started in Boston after BU College of Fine Arts but I had my sights on New York City - my home now for over 20 years. Beantown has my ‘haht’ but NYC has my soul.  I’ve written and performed my own stories & spoken word poetry at The Ohio and The Nuyorican Poets Cafe. Along with on-camera national commercial & industrial work and performing with award-winning theater companies and on celebrated off-Broadway stages, I’ve voiced museum installations (care to learn about wetlands anyone?) and have a fan base for characters I voice in the award-winning System Shock II video game. I’ve taught after-school art class, wrangled on-set extras, produced theater, curated art exhibits and MC’d events. And while I’ve never worked in the circus, I thrive juggling many hats as a performer, school garden enthusiast, writer and PTA leader.

You’ll often find me chatting with neighbors outside our Brooklyn rental; working via Zoom as a ‘standardized patient’ for Memorial Sloan Kettering; and occasionally unleashing my “hit the back of the theater” pipes to get my nine-year-old to brush her teeth before school.
